Cookery School during the event
Throughout the event, the Cookery School at Bordeaux Quay will also be running an exciting programme of hands-on cookery workshops for children aged 6-16. We'll be cooking dishes good enough to rival anything the celebrity chefs might produce in the Fair next door!
Think simple summery salads with the best of the season's ingredients, plus scones, cupcakes, summer fruit smoothies, hand-made pizzas, loaves of bread and bruschetta.
Children will cook 2 recipes per 1 hour workshop and take home what they've cooked, along with a copy of the recipes. Drop your children at a Cookery School workshop and then visit the Fair.
There will be signs to the Cookery School from the Chefs Theatre. You will find it on the First Floor at Bordeaux Quay restaurant, situated on the Harbourside, next door to Lloyds Amphitheatre.
To reduce the cost for parents & to promote cookery education, the Bristol Wine & Food Fair will give a free adult entry ticket to each child entered into the cookery classes.
Spaces are restricted to 12 per workshop. Please book your place in advance.
Tickets are available from the Cookery School only. To book, call 0117 904 6679 or email cookery.school@bordeaux-quay.co.uk
